Tropical fruit flavors glide seamlessly across the palate, with hints of lime zest and grapefruit that lead to a clean, crisp finish. The 2016 Pinot Gris is an incredibly versatile wine that pairs perfectly with grilled seafood, or fresh oysters.
Our partner growers, Barakel Vineyards in Albany and Kliewer Vineyard outside of Eugene provide the beautiful fruit for the 2016 Pinot Gris. With its Bellpine soil of silty clay loam, Kliewer Vineyard adds flesh and richness, which combines wonderfully with the brightness and acidity from Barakel Vineyard.
